SGT Cart's pricing is simple: a flat platform commission per delivered sale, no monthly subscription, no listing fee. Optional promotional services are billed separately and only when you opt in. This page lists every fee with the exact rate.
1. Platform commission
Commission is charged only on delivered Sub-Orders. Cancelled or refunded Sub-Orders incur no commission. The rate depends on category:

Commission is calculated on the item subtotal (units × unit price after any flash-sale discount and bulk tier), before VAT. Admin may negotiate a custom rate with high-volume Sellers; the rate for your shop is always visible in the Seller Center.
2. Payment-processing fees
Payment-network fees are passed through at cost — SGT Cart doesn't mark them up:

3. Optional promotional services
Pay only if and when you use them. All promotional fees are listed in the Seller Center's Promotions tab; subject to admin approval where space is limited.

4. Refunded-order commission reversal
When a delivered Sub-Order is refunded later (return, dispute, Buyer Protection), SGT Cart's commission is refunded too in proportion to the refund. Specifically:
- Full refund → 100% commission reversed.
- Partial refund (e.g., 30%) → 30% of commission reversed.
- The reversal appears as a negative commission line on your next payout statement.
Payment-processing fees are NOT reversed (the gateway charged us regardless of refund) — they remain a cost of the original sale.
5. VAT collection & deposit
Under NBR rules for online marketplaces, SGT Cart withholds VAT at source on certain category sales (currently 5% for most categories) and deposits it to NBR. You'll see:
- The VAT amount deducted from your gross sale on each payout statement.
- A monthly VAT certificate suitable for your own VAT return filing (Mushok 6.3).
- An annual Form 108 / 108B equivalent for income-tax filing.
If your business is below the BIN/VAT threshold, you should mark this in your Seller profile and SGT Cart will not withhold VAT — but you remain responsible for any tax obligation that arises.
6. Worked example — a Tk 1,000 sale
Customer pays Tk 1,000 (incl. VAT) for a fashion item, by bKash.

Same Order via COD instead of bKash would deduct Tk 20 flat instead of Tk 18.50 — almost identical for this size. Card-paid Orders deduct 2.5% instead of 1.85%, which is Tk 6.50 more for a Tk 1,000 sale.
Your monthly payout statement breaks this down per Sub-Order so you can reconcile with your accounting.
